Albert Hall Museum was built in 1876 and shared the same architectural aesthetics as the Victoria and Albert Museum of London. The foundation for the building started in 1876 when the Prince of Wales visited Jaipur. Once completed in 1880, it served as City’s Town Hall. In 1907 his Son, Maharaja Sawai Madho Singh II suggested using it as a museum for industrial arts. Later, after World War II Albert Hall Museum exhibited the masterpieces of local artisans.
