Hawa Mahal, popularly known as the ‘Palace of Winds’ or ‘Palace of Breeze’ was constructed in 1799 as an expansion of the City Palace, Jaipur. The Hawa Mahal was built by the popular Kachhwaha Rajput ruler, Sawai Pratap Singh, and designed by Lal Chand Ustad . Situated at the heart of The Pink City, Badi Chaupad, Hawa Mahal is a must-visit destination for national as well as international travelers.
